Spa Rockaway owner Pat Rorke is a licensed esthetician certified in Reiki and Face Yoga, which she incorporates into her facials. While researching products and treatments, she developed the Skin Fitness Program, which is designed to target all layers of the skin along with strengthening the facial muscles. Rorke says the holidays are a great time to give a Spa Rockaway gift card or treatment. "The gift of wellness is one of the best gifts you can give. I love getting a spa gift," she says. She suggests checking the website for holiday specials, "including a holiday body scrub in a winter wonderland scent."
When asked how to prep skin for winter weather, Rorke suggests "exfoliation and rehydration. Our signature facial does a beautiful job. It starts with microdermabrasion then oxygen is infused deep into the skin. We recommend people get a facial once a month."
Signature treatments and products include Skin Holistic skincare and the new Venus Versa treatment. The Skin Holistic skincare line, featured in Vogue Magazine, blends science with botanicals for a soothing, effective treatment. Rorke's Skin Holistic line came from her frustration of not being able to find the combination of ingredients she was looking for. "I created my own line. It's marine botanical based with natural, organic yet active ingredients that work," she says.

She has seen remarkable results with this treatment, saying "I have clients in their 70's and we are getting rid of wrinkles without fillers or Botox.
