Before and Afters

Electrolysis uses a thin metal probe to deliver a low-level electrical pulse to each undesired hair follicle and stops new hair growth. Electrolysis targets individual hairs and uses electricity as opposed to light as a heat source.  Therefore, it can target any color hair with any/all skin types. After many repeated treatments, electrolysis results in permanent hair removal. In terms of ouch-factor, you can expect to feel some discomfort due to the brief pinch and heat sensations throughout the treatment.

Does electrolysis work?

How many treatments will I need?

Many factors influence hair growth, so you will need to return for several electrolysis visits. The total number of sessions needed to remove hair permanently from a particular area will vary from person to person. Most clients return once a week or every other week as needed. But the unwanted hair will be gone forever once the series of treatments is complete. Each treatment lasts between 15 minutes and one hour.
